Glanz & Gorilla has been operating the island in Schliersee as an event location since May 2022.

Description

Insel im Schliersee offers a good 2 hectares of unique nature and can be reached by Schliersee Schifffahrt and an island-owned boat for our guests.

The combination of natural wonder and stylish ambience offers space for intimate celebrations, inspiring workshops with team building from 20 people or exhilarating summer parties with up to 300 people
and creates unforgettable moments far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Special features & further information

The first floor consists of the main hall with direct access to the covered terrace area, the panorama hall with 6.5m high ceilings overlooking the lake and mountain panorama and a dance floor between DJ and bar.

On the upper floor there are 72sqm, which can be used as additional event space, checkroom area or can be used for childcare.

The terrace covers 250sqm and offers the perfect view over the picturesque scenery. An outdoor bar and 120sqm of the terrace are provided by a custom, permanently installed Tentickle stretch tent to protect them from rain and sun.

More than 1000sqm of outdoor space is exclusively available for a free wedding ceremony, team building or sporting activities.

With direct access to the lake via the public area, pedal boats or stand-up paddles can be conveniently delivered to the island, used on site and collected again. These can be hired from our partners.

At sunset, the campfire area is an atmospheric place to party afterwards. As there are no residents on the island, it is possible to party undisturbed in the outdoor area until 10 pm. Events with music are permitted in the halls with the door closed until 2 am.
