UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE – TRADITION GOES FUTURE
A meeting tradition dating back more than 350 years truly is something unique. And that’s exactly what the UNESCO World Heritage city of Regensburg can lay claim to, having hosted the first Perpetual Diet in 1663, which continued until 1803. A number of historic spaces for conferences and parties continue to be on offer to this day. Be swept away and take your event guests on a journey through time in one of our city’s historic venues!

But under the motto of “tradition goes future”, modern event spaces combined with the UNESCO World Heritage also guarantee success regardless of the theme! Time certainly hasn’t stayed still in Regensburg. In this boomtown with its many global players, the 32,000 students among its 162,000 residents particularly bring life to the city, whose atmosphere revolves around lifestyle, coupled with Bavarian warmth, a creative cultural scene, and scientific research and development.

NEW SINCE APRIL 2018 in the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE CITY OF REGENSBURG – THE MARINAFORUM REGENSBURG CONFERENCE AND EVENTS CENTER
Events catering to up to 750 people in row seating can now be held within walking distance of the old town. Along with flexibility and numerous workshop spaces, the primary focus here was on sustainability and accessibility.

SUSTAINABILITY IS IMPORTANT TO US
RTG has not one but two sustainability advisors who work to ensure the center’s events are more sustainable. We use the Green Score Card assessment and measuring tool. And our services also include the Deutsche Bahn event ticket, an on-site congress ticket and shuttles.

COMPREHENSIVE SERVICE FOR YOU AND YOUR GUESTS
We offer complete solutions tailored specifically to your events. From event logistics (catering, equipment, decoration etc.) to organizing accompanying events, city tours and hotel room allocations.

BOOKING HOTEL ROOMS
To help you organize your event, we take care of managing room allocations and booking rooms – at no extra cost.

DISCOVER REGENSBURG
We have around 40 different themed and scenic city tours on offer, which we can tailor specifically to your participants. Our guides can also provide a hosting service, accompanying your guests on a brief tour from the hotel to the event venue. Options include experiencing Regensburg’s history, boosting team spirit, making sausages together, or brewing beer together.

FANCY A SOUVENIR?
Our Tourist Information Office sells original Regensburg souvenirs for your loved ones back home or as small gifts for your conference guests. All our souvenirs have a regional link to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Regensburg. And we are of course mindful of sustainability and fair trade wherever possible.
